I’m Sebastian Reales, a 17-year-old student born and raised in Qatar. I currently study at the Philippine International School – Qatar, where I am committed to growing both academically and personally. Being part of a vibrant community, I embrace my Filipino heritage while living abroad, blending cultural pride with a global perspective.
Growing up in Qatar while embracing my Filipino heritage has given me a unique perspective that influences both my studies and artistic work. I’m proud to celebrate and share the rich traditions of my culture through my projects.
2019 - 2023
Junior High School
I attended Philippine International School – Qatar, where I enjoyed Science and MAPEH and was a proud varsity team member. I graduated with a With Honors award, with Grade 10 being a memorable year filled with prom, FIFA tournaments, and graduation events.
2023 - Current
Senior High School
In senior high school at Philippine International School – Qatar, I became more active both academically and in extracurricular activities. I continued as a varsity member and took on a more active role in various clubs. With college on the horizon, I have focused more on my studies, striving to prepare myself for the next chapter of my education.
Education
Hobbies
I have a deep passion for playing the piano, which serves as a creative outlet and a way to relax and express my emotions through music. Basketball is another important part of my life, helping me stay active, build teamwork skills, and connect with others. I also enjoy going out and exploring new environments, which fuels my curiosity and broadens my perspective. This sense of exploration has sparked my interest in videography and cinematography. I love capturing stories and moments through the lens, combining my creativity with a passion for visual storytelling.
Basketball
Basketball has been part of my life since childhood. I'm a big fan of Barangay Ginebra in the PBA and the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. Whenever I get the chance, I enjoy playing casual games with friends—it's a great way to stay active and have fun.
Piano
I've been playing the piano for over ten years, starting with formal lessons during my first year and continuing as a self-taught musician ever since. Although school has kept me busy lately and limited my practice time, playing the piano remains a meaningful part of who I am and something I always find myself returning to.
Nature
Spending time in nature has always been important to me. I’ve long dreamed of living somewhere in the Alps, surrounded by mountains and quiet landscapes. Whether it’s hiking, exploring, or simply being outdoors, I find peace and inspiration in the natural world.
Cinematography
Cinematography became one of my creative interests a few years ago. Since then, I’ve been gradually learning more about it and honing my skills. There's something captivating about how stories are told visually, and I enjoy experimenting with ways to capture scenes and moments on film.
